It notifies us in real time, when employees are late, when employees aren’t showing up for their shifts. Sometimes in a busy restaurant you have a million and one things going on at the same time. It’s hard to keep track of who needs to take a break, who needs to clock out, who’s coming in, and who didn’t show up for their shift. Altametrics enterprise makes it really easy to manage.
The restaurant mobile app is really convenient. With a company that’s always growing it can be sometimes hard to manage labor on a bigger scale. You have multiple units and it’s hard to check in and make sure everything is going the way it’s suppose to be. You can even be stuck in traffic and monitor all that. You can be at one location and still be keeping tabs on all the other locations really easily. It’s a super user friendly restaurant software and you just check it out and make sure that all the stores are doing well.
Altametrics enterprise even offers reporting, which is extremely helpful. They have both a payroll report, which you can just export and take care of your payroll needs. As well as a performance report. You select a time frame and it gathers information for all of your employees. It lets you know the hours worked based off the scheduled hours. It lets you know if they have any overtime, if they’re approaching overtime. If they’ve been taking their breaks, if they’ve been late, how often they’re on time. If they or any of their employees have violated any labor laws.
Here at Fresh Griller, we use zip clock on a tablet mounted on a wall. With the attached biometric reader, clocking in is super fast and simple. The employee simply scans their thumbprint and they’re clocked in. This eliminates any possibility of buddy-punching. So we know all the employees clocked in are actually working. It makes clocking in a lot faster, so there’s no more minute here or minute there before or after. It’s just a lot easier to clock in.
I would recommend Altametrics enterprise because not only does it help hold my team members accountable for their schedule, but it also proactively warns you if someone is about to violate a break. If someone is going to show up late to their shift or if any of the labor laws are going to be violated.
